Labor Day Weekend
Come shop the regionally renowned garage sales. Enjoy the small town parade that is the envy of many communities, celebrate those we honor in our community at the wall of honor and other events during this wonderful weekend.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Come join in singing, and celebrating the lighting of our Depot park Christmas tree! A 25 year tradition that allows us to remember the reason for the season, and interact with neighbors and local businesses. Santa makes an early appearance!

Envision Film Festival
This annual film festival welcomes people from the community to come celebrate the film work of high school students and college students at Taylor University. Each year the quality of the film creates excitement and pause as we consider the various subjects covered in these films. Come envision what tomorrow’s leaders in digital media / film are boldly covering.

Barton Rees Pogue Poetry and Arts Festival
In honor of Upland’s favorite son, Barton Rees Pogue, a published poet, who taught at Taylor University besides being a lecturer and pastor the Parton Rees Pogue Poetry and Arts Festival happens once a year. This event honors local pets and artists with prizes awarded for local youth and adult categories. Past themes include: “The Great Outdoors,” “Love is in the Air,” “Childhood Memories” and “All Aboard, Upland.” Local Town of Upland businesses contribute prizes.
Second Weekend of April
Taylathon at Taylor University
This annual class competition features a men’s and women’s bike race on campus. This annual competition that has gone on for over 40 years is exciting to see!
